Laura Baranik is a Prague Shakespeare Festival Company Member. Laura Baranik is a Prague Shakespeare Festival Company Member. Recent Prague appearances include Cassandra in Agamemnon, Lulu in The Birthday Party and Ophelia in Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead for Blood, Love & Rhetoric, as well as Benvolio in Guy Roberts's Romeo and Juliet on Vyšehrad's Summer Stage. She holds a BFA in Drama from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting and the Experimental Theatre Wing and participated in a summer-long physical theatre intensive with the International Theatre Workshop in Amsterdam. Favorite roles during training include Irina in The Three Sisters, Wendla in Spring Awakening and Alena in the American premiere of Biljana Srbljanovic's The Belgrade Trilogy. She can also be seen in the feature films Solomon Kane and Rex-patriates and has starred in international television commercials for Coca-Cola, Vodafone and Kraft Foods, among others. Laura is currently based in London, where she is a member of British Equity.
